BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE

Hunter began his real estate career in 1993 after earning a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from The Citadel in 1992. He gained experience appraising commercial properties for Stone and Associates and joined The Furman Company in 1996. Hunter’s initial focus included the development of office properties and brokerage. In June of 2001, he started with NAI Earle Furman, LLC, where today he is Senior Vice President, specializing in Industrial and Investment properties. Hunter is also a member of the Investment Committee for Appian Investments. He holds Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designations,  and he was named the 2004 Greater Greenville Association of Realtors Commercial Realtor of the Year. Hunter serves on the boards of The American Red Cross Upstate Chapter, The Coastal Conservation Association of SC, Caine Halter YMCA, Greater Greenville Association of Realtors’ (GGAR) Commercial Steering Committee, and Metropolitan Arts Council. He has previously held the positions of Chair of the Commercial Steering Committee for GGAR  and board member for GGAR.
